Musical songs can have powerful effects for those who have the ability to
play instruments, chiefly *****c_bard.txt*0[Bards].

In order to continue playing a song, mana is consumed each turn, until 
either the 'Stop Singing' song is sung, or the player's mana runs out.

Each song, as well as having a school level like any other magic spell, also
has a roman numeral following its name. The higher this number, the greater the
craftmanship of the instrument required to play it.

Each musical instrument has a value assigned to it as well, between 1 and 4. The
higher the number, the better the craftmanship; hence it will be possible
for the bard to play higher level songs only with more powerful instruments.
E.g. a Harp(+1) will allow you to cast "Stop Singing(I)" and "Song of the
Sun(I)". A Harp(+2) would allow you to sing those songs, as well as "Flow of
Life(II)".

There are four different types of instruments: Harps, Drums, Horns and
Flutes. Each type of instrument contains a different family of musical
songs:

   Stops the current song, if any.

1. [[[[[vHolding Pattern(I)] (school level 1)
   Slows down all hostile monsters listening the song.
   Consumes mana each turn.
2. [[[[[vIllusion Pattern(II)] (school level 5)
   Tries to confuse all hostile monsters listening the song.
   Consumes mana each turn.
3. [[[[[vStun Pattern(III)] (school level 10)
   Stuns all hostile monsters listening to the song.
   Consumes mana each turn.
4. [[[[[vTremor Pattern(III)] (school level 20)
   Produces an earth-shaking sound.

#####GHarps
1. [[[[[vSong of the Sun(I)] (School level 1)
   Provides light as long as you sing.
   At level 3 it lights rooms.
   At level 5 it causes damage to light-sensitive creatures.
   At level 15 it creates a stronger light that damages all creatures.
   Consumes mana each turn.
2. [[[[[vFlow of Life(II)] (School level 5)
   Heals you as long as you sing.
   Consumes mana each turn.
3. [[[[[vHeroic Ballad(II)] (School level 10)
   Increases melee accuracy.
   At level 10 it increases it even more and reduces armour a bit.
   At level 20 it increases it still more.
   At level 25 it grants protection against chaos and confusion.
   Consumes mana each turn.
4. [[[[[vHobbit Melodies(III)] (School level 20)
   Greatly increases your reflexes allowing you to block more melee blows.
   At level 15 it also makes you faster.
   Consumes mana each turn.
5. [[[[[vClairaudience(IV)] (School level 25)
   Allows you to sense monster minds as long as you sing.
   At level 10 it identifies all objects in a radius on the floor,
   as well as probing monsters in that radius.
   Consumes mana each turn.

#####GHorns
1. [[[[[vBlow(I)] (School level 4)
   Produces a powerful, blowing sound all around you.
2. [[[[[vShockwave (II)] (School level 10)
   Produces a blast of sound that can knock monsters back.
3. [[[[[vGush of Wind (II)] (School level 14)
   Produces a outgoing gush of wind that sends monsters away.
4. [[[[[vBlow Harder(III)] (School level 25)
   Produces an ear-splitting noise that harms all monsters in line of sight.
5. [[[[[vAmbarkanta(IV)] (School level 25)
   Produces a reality-shaking sound that transports you to a nearly
   identical reality.
    
#####GFlutes
1. [[[[[vLay of the Land(I)] (School level 3)
   Detects traps in a radius around you.
   At level 5 it also detects doors and stairs.
   At level 10 it also detects treasure.
   At level 20 it also detects objects.
   At level 25 it also detects the layout of the surrounding area.
   At level 45 it also maps and lights the whole level.

   Disarms traps.
   At level 10 it also destroys doors.
3. [[[[[vFlight of Fancy(III)] (School level 20)
   Grants levitation as long as you sing.
   At level 10 it allows you to fly.
   Consumes the amount of mana each turn.
